Role Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Hire, coach, develop, and manage 9–12 representatives across Neuroscience and Cardiovascular portfolios
- Establish team goals, hold for performance standards, and manage underperformance
- Build a culture grounded in engagement, morale, and continuous improvement
- Apply situational leadership and multimodal coaching (live/virtual/hybrid) to strengthen rep capabilities
- Provide meaningful development opportunities for career growth and long-term engagement
Business Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic area business plans aligned to national/regional priorities
- Own area-level budget accountability; plan, deploy, and monitor resources
- Conduct proactive data analysis to identify trends and anticipate business shifts
- Ensure proper use of promotional materials and measure field execution vs. plan
- Collaborate with Marketing during Op Plan to shape strategies and objectives
Customer Engagement & Key Account Development
- Build relationships with customers (incl. KOLs), large group practices, hospitals, and managed care orgs
- Lead credible, science-forward conversations across therapeutic areas
- Identify and pursue key account development opportunities
- Connect HSPs with channel and HQ partners to meet complex needs
- Coach reps to integrate digital tools and cross-functional colleagues into engagements
Compliance & Integrity
- Ensure compliant selling activities for self and team; maintain knowledge of compliance policies and escalate issues
Digital & Operational Excellence
- Operate digital/virtual tools; manage resources via data-driven channel deployment
- Use sales data/reporting software to adjust strategy and adapt to technology
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years pharma/biotech/medical marketing/sales; 3–5 years in a demonstrated leadership role
- Experience engaging key thought leaders in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; DUI/DWI/impaired driving citation within past 7 years is disqualifying
- Demonstrated leadership to influence, collaborate, coach others, and drive business impact
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/graduate degree; 5+ years people management
- Specialty sales/therapeutic expertise; cross-portfolio/integrated medicine a plus

- Strong organizational/analytical, strategic execution, facilitation skills
Travel & Work Schedule
- Field travel required; overnight travel expected
