Role Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, develop, and manage 9β12 reps across Neuroscience (Migraine) and Cardiovascular (NVAF/VTE)
- Set team goals; hold to performance standards; manage underperformance; build culture of engagement and continuous improvement
- Use situational leadership and multimodal (live/virtual/hybrid) coaching to strengthen rep capabilities
- Develop strategic area business plans aligned to national/regional priorities; own area budget and resource deployment; analyze data to identify trends and stakeholder shifts
- Ensure effective use of promotional materials; measure execution against plan; collaborate with Marketing during Op Plan
- Build relationships with KOLs, large group practices, hospitals, and managed care organizations; lead science-forward conversations
- Identify and pursue key account development opportunities; connect HSPs with channel and HQ partners; coach reps to integrate digital tools and cross-functional resources
- Ensure compliance of selling activities and escalate compliance issues
- Operate digital/virtual tools; manage channel deployment using data; leverage sales data/reporting to adjust strategy
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required
- 6+ years pharma/biotech/medical marketing/sales; 3β5 years leadership role
- Experience engaging key thought leaders/influential customers preferred
- Valid U.S. driverβs license; no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within 7 years
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence, collaborate, coach, and deliver business impact
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/graduate degree; 5+ years people management
- Specialty sales/therapeutic expertise; cross-portfolio/integrated medicine a plus; Science First
- Strong analytical/organizational, facilitation, virtual communication, strategic execution, and stakeholder management
Travel & Work Schedule
- Field travel required; overnight travel as needed; attend area and national meetings
Benefits / Compensation
- Base salary: $139,000β$280,400 plus Sales Incentive bonus; 401(k) matching and retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision coverage
