Main Responsibilities:
- Execute Sanofi strategies/tactics in assigned territory via tailored business plans aligned to corporate brand/marketing.
- Identify key decision makers and conduct customer meetings.
- Ask strategic questions to uncover hematology account needs; position promoted brands and collaborate on customized account strategies.
- Review/analyze market and customer data to support strategic planning.
- Use data/systems/processes to find business opportunities and improve execution of strategic goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve customer needs with urgency.
- Present and communicate complex hematology clinical information to institutional physicians/hospitals and/or large group practices in a professional, compliant manner.
- Apply deep therapeutic/product/disease expertise (MoA, indications, efficacy, safety) and provide market insights/field feedback.
- Understand and analyze healthcare trends, laws/regulations, and market access/payer and patient flow; execute sales calls within compliance guidelines.
- Build and maintain relationships across physician/HCP offices and hospital staff.
- Coordinate with patient/provider services (Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distributor, Patient Services) to ensure complete patient care (diagnosis through treatment completion).
- Respond to provider/patient needs with timely resolution.
- Share knowledge and information to foster team effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent.
- 2+ years successful hospital/institutional or specialty pharmaceutical sales OR 2 years relevant clinical experience (e.g., ARNP/PA/RN/PT/social worker) plus sales experience.
- Ability to work traditional and non-traditional hours.
- Travel up to 60%.
- Valid driverโs license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA.
- 4+ years industry sales experience.
- 3+ years hematology sales experience.
- Rare/orphan disease experience; specialty pharmacy experience.
- Sales launch experience with complex specialty products.
- Reside within assigned territory.
