Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual sales objectives for a defined territory by developing, maintaining, and enhancing key customer relationships.
- Develop and implement effective territory business plans via territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insights (updated quarterly).
- Implement business plans by leveraging appropriate resources with Hematologists, Oncologists, and other key customers.
- Build expertise in product, disease state, and marketplace; communicate and position Sanofi Genzyme oncology portfolio to promote appropriate use.
- Partner with field teams (including Oncology Transplant Network Manager) to ensure strategy pull-through across Key IDNs/System, Reimbursement, Accounts, other ABMs, and Medical.
- Complete call reporting, business plan updates, and expense reports; operate within pharma compliance guidelines.
- Perform effective account targeting and time management.
- Attend required training and relevant conventions/symposia.
- Complete fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited school (required).
- Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience (required).
- Ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Up to 2 years successful experience selling chemotherapeutic agents or biotech products (preferred).
- Working knowledge of hospital and cancer center environment (preferred).
- Sales Oncology/Hematology experience (preferred).
- BA focus in business or life science (preferred).
- Drive a company car safely to daily meetings and appointments (required).
