Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual sales objectives for a Brooklyn territory by developing, maintaining, and enhancing key customer relationships.
- Develop and implement effective territory business plans aligned with marketing strategies (updated quarterly) using territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insights.
- Execute business plans by leveraging appropriate resources with Hematologists, Oncologists, and other key customers.
- Become a product/disease state/marketplace expert; communicate and position Sanofi oncology portfolio information to promote appropriate use.
- Partner with field matrix resources (e.g., Key Account Managers, Thought Leader Liaisons, Certified Educators, manager, Medical as appropriate) to ensure strategy pull-through.
- Complete call reporting, business plan updates, and expense reports; operate in compliance with Pharma promotion guidelines.
- Target accounts effectively and manage time; attend required trainings and relevant conventions/symposia.
- Complete fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited school (business or life science preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of Specialty biotech sales experience.
- Ability and willingness to collaborate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oncology/Hematology sales experience or experience in rare disease/medical device.
- Strategic thinking; effective oral and written communication.
- Familiarity with hospital and cancer center environment.
- Safely drive a company car to daily meetings/appointments.
