Main Responsibilities
- Develop and utilize a business plan aligned with marketing strategies through territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insights (updated quarterly).
- Implement business plans by leveraging appropriate resources with Hematologists, Oncologists, and key customers.
- Serve as product/disease state/marketplace expert; communicate and position product information to promote appropriate use of the Sanofi Genzyme oncology portfolio.
- Coordinate with field partners to ensure strategy pull-through (Key IDNs/System, Reimbursement, Key Accounts, other ABMs, and Medical as appropriate).
- Complete call reporting, business plan updates, and expense reports; operate within Pharma compliance guidelines.
- Perform effective account targeting and time management.
- Attend required training sessions, conventions, and symposia.
- Complete fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited school required (business or life science preferred).
- Minimum 2 years specialty sales experience (Oncology/Hematology preferred).
Additional Requirements/Preferred Skills
- Ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Up to 2 years successful experience selling chemotherapeutic agents or biotech products (preferred).
- Experience with multiple myeloma products/therapies (preferred).
- Familiarity with hospital and cancer center environment (preferred).
- Safely drive a company car to daily meetings/appointments is required.
