Main Responsibilities:
- Grow portfolio share and revenue; consistently deliver on product goals.
- Serve as a therapeutic area expert; position and differentiate products.
- Collaborate with field stakeholders (e.g., Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, strategic account managers, Hospital business managers) to proactively address customer needs.
- Identify market dynamics/trends, develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives, and drive optimal account success in assigned geography.
- Engage with account/territory data; partner with internal data specialists to derive insights that help HCPs operate more effectively.
- Determine optimal ABM strategy for HCPs in an agile way leveraging AI and other digital tools.
- Identify opportunities and develop strategic business plans to generate product utilization and grow territory business.
- Differentiate portfolio contracting options and competitive offerings via financial presentations.
- Execute responsibilities under a buy/bill model, including complex pricing analysis/price calculator usage, product shipping, contract compliance monitoring, and securing contract amendments.
- Adapt to changing sales methodologies, including remote selling techniques.
- Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
- Maximize geographic territory budget to execute strategies/tactics and grow the business.
- Participate in and help lead sales initiatives (e.g., congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences).
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experience with business-to-business knowledge.
- Broad understanding of healthcare environment, decision-making processes, and market trends; proven track record accessing decision makers.
- Business-to-business success; strong commercial business acumen.
- Strategic/critical thinking and innovative thinking.
- Ability to navigate a hybrid environment and determine optimal HCP selling model.
- Omnichannel experience using appropriate channels informed by insights.
- Demonstrated ability to use data/analytics to uncover insights and drive solutions.
- Passion for science; proactive learning related to disease state, treatment options, and healthcare trends.
- Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide feedback, and prioritize multiple products.
- Self-directed, organized; strong execution and planning skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Valid driver’s license, eligible for insurance, and able to safely operate a vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experience with business-to-business experience.
- 2+ years account management experience.
- Enhanced digital acumen; strong clinical acumen.
- Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting, or Finance.
- Proficiency with MS Office and customer management databases.
