Position Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of Rezdiffra, its mechanism of action, and its clinical benefits.
- Effectively communicate the clinical profile of the product to healthcare professionals.
- Tailor product presentations to the needs and interests of each healthcare provider.
- Create a detailed territory-level business plan to ensure successful launch execution post-FDA approval.
- Strategically plan and prioritize sales activities to maximize coverage and impact within your assigned territory.
- Identify and target key healthcare providers, including gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, and APPs.
- Analyze and ensure utilization of sales/marketing tools and other resources to educate healthcare professionals.
- Provide in-depth product training and education to healthcare professionals and their staff.
- Stay up to date on the latest clinical data and GI treatment guidelines.
- Demonstrate high clinical and business acumen, including mastery of clinical knowledge via assessments.
- Develop actionable business plans to execute sales strategies/tactics and drive product adoption to meet/exceed sales objectives.
- Continuously analyze sales data and market trends and adapt to improve performance.
- Drive sales results by compliantly promoting the company’s products to targeted HCPs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional field-facing partners to create internal/external customer-focused initiatives and a positive customer experience.
- Demonstrate a patient-centric mindset.
- Follow up on customer and partner requests with urgency in a legal/compliant manner.
- Establish and cultivate strategic relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals within a designated geography.
- Spearhead cross-functional collaboration and serve as a commercial lead for the customer engagement model.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, compliance, and company policies; maintain integrity and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of sales calls, interactions, and expenses.
- Generate regular reports on territory performance and market insights.
- Attend company-sponsored sales/medical meetings and required live conferences/programs.
- Travel varies by region (often 30–50% overnight for larger regions); role is 100% in-person with no remote aspect.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience required.
- Prior specialty launch experience preferred.
- Proven success in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical, medical device, or related sales; GI experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the local GI market and healthcare provider challenges.
- Local experience; proven access to local GI thought leaders strongly preferred.
- Ability to use sales/market data to create actionable territory business plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence virtually.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, goal-oriented, and adaptable.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to learn complex scientific/technical information and communicate to a broad HCP audience.
- Advocate for an inclusive, diverse, positive culture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed (including overnights/weekends).
- Ability to sit for extended periods during frequent travel; frequent use of computer/iPad/phone/printer/office equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must live within territory boundaries and ideally near the workload center.
