Main Responsibilities:
- Engage Allergy/Immunology/Pulmonology customers in assigned territory and deliver a clinically focused selling message to introduce, launch, grow brand-share and revenue, and consistently meet product goals.
- Collaborate with field-based stakeholders (e.g., medical, access, thought leader liaisons) to address customer needs, identify market dynamics/trends, develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives, and ensure account success.
- Develop relationships with asthma experts and other Allergy/Immunology/Pulmonology specialists, as well as biologic coordinators, office staff, healthcare personnel, and patient advocacy support groups.
- Drive results via opportunity identification and strategic business plans to increase product utilization and grow territory business.
- Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs/activities.
- Maximize and manage territory budget to execute strategies and grow the business.
- Participate in and help lead sales success initiatives (e.g., congresses, meetings, medical conferences).
- Own business opportunities in the territory, including coordination/calling on large group practices and key targets.
- Establish relationships with thought leaders to drive customer value.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (accredited four-year college/university).
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experience.
- Ability to learn and apply technical/scientific product information.
- Ability to travel as necessary.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity and compliance.
- Ability to operate as a team player.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable (or office-administered IV) biologics.
- 2+ years selling in Asthma or related immunology disorders (Psoriasis, MS, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis) strongly preferred.
- 2+ years calling on Allergists and/or Pulmonologists.
- Co-promotion experience preferred.
- Advanced clinically-based selling skills; results track record in product launches.
- In-servicing/training experience (office staff, nurses, office managers).
- Strong science learning aptitude and proactive disease-state knowledge building.
- Highly organized with strong account management skills.
