Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a division team of Area Business Managers (ABMs) to build trust with customers and demonstrate value in a business-to-business selling environment.
- Own the business area/territory; build robust divisional business plans that translate targets by products, segments (e.g., Independents, LOCs), and contracting modalities (e.g., PBGs).
- Strategically direct ABMs for acquisition, expansion, and retention of targeted customer accounts.
- Drive ABM customer plan implementation using promotion (including omnichannel) and analytical tools to improve efficiency in assigned geography based on local customer opportunities and needs.
- Support ABMs to evaluate and prioritize business across Pediatrics, Family/General Practice, IDN/IHNs, Health Systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
- Deliver account performance objectives via robust account plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented goals aligned to regional objectives.
- Use account and territory-level data to develop actionable business plans and conduct business reviews.
- Navigate and communicate complex contracting and pricing to maintain and expand sales.
- Establish and track territory performance metrics; adjust plans and tasks as needed.
- Coach/train team members to identify opportunities, navigate key points of contact, and drive business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize account initiatives addressing changing customer/market needs; coordinate hospital/strategic account partnership opportunities and implementation.
- Coordinate with other customer teams to inform customer strategy and proactively share insights.
- Recruit, select, train, and coach; ensure appropriate staffing and competencies.
- Build and maintain morale and motivation; encourage ABM development and career growth.

Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years related sales experience (preferably B2B and/or healthcare sales).
- 3–5+ years first-line pharmaceutical sales leadership experience.
- Ability to develop professional relationships for scientific exchange and promotion with healthcare providers.
- Strong leadership and coaching/people development; motivational/inspirational team builder.
- Collaborative influencer with ability to educate management on account needs.
- Strong customer-facing skills and demonstrated negotiating capability.
- Inclusive mindset in talent development and team dynamics.

- Ability to travel within division regularly (frequent overnight/weekend travel).

- Advanced or master’s degree.
- Vaccine sales and/or buy-and-bill, distribution, administration, and reimbursement knowledge.
- Launch experience within the last 4 years.
- Experience with organized customers and delivering executive value propositions for acute care/vaccine products.
- Knowledge of managed market dynamics and competitive landscape in acute care and/or vaccines.
- Exposure/experience in other business functions (e.g., Sales Training, Customer Solutions, Sales Operations, Managed Care, Marketing).
