Main Responsibilities:
- Work with project team members and other scientists to develop analytical strategies that meet evolving project needs
- Develop specific and robust analytical methods for small molecules using HPLC, UHPLC, and GC; validate methods when necessary
- Coordinate analytical work for assigned projects
- Ensure appropriate allocation of resources to projects based on priority
- Represent the analytical group in late development CMC projects
- Ensure timely completion of analytical deliverables (e.g., draggability assessments, specifications, stability programs, reference substances, etc.)
- Author or review analytical development technical reports
- Ensure effective communication and cooperation across functional groups (CMC Dossier, Regulatory CMC, Research Platform, Manufacturing)
- Promote networking with internal/external scientific partners, including subcontractors

Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Analytical Chemistry (or related) with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (PhD in Analytical Chemistry preferred)
- Extensive experience in analytical method development and validation
- Ability to operate independently and prioritize
- Familiarity with cGMP and regulatory requirements for analytical methods
- Prior CMC project management experience
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to propose course of action and advocate in CMC team meetings
- Record of success in CMC project management
- Working knowledge of synthetic chemistry and pharmaceutical development
- Proven collaboration with scientists and external stakeholders
- Advanced scientific network in industry and academia
- Record of patents and publications
- Record of adhering to and promoting lab safety practices
