Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and lead a team of Territory Account Specialists to deliver strategic sales objectives; set team accountability with KPI supervision.
- Lead by example through clear expectations, accountability, enabling others, and process improvement.
- Coordinate and monitor total account call execution to meet customer needs; plan, communicate, and follow through.
- Develop and implement a customer-centric business plan with customer engagement and cross-functional partners to optimize customer experience and product demand.
- Participate in regional leadership to support regional goals, business execution, team development, and culture.
- Use clinical and omnichannel knowledge to develop/mentor the team during field contacts and 1:1 sessions; use analytics to identify risk/opportunity.
Qualifications (Essential):
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 2+ years (ABL I), 4+ (ABL II), or 8+ (Senior ABL) years as a first-line sales manager with strategic/enterprise mindset in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex, geographically dispersed sales environments.
- 2+ years first-line sales manager experience; proven success building high-performing diverse teams.
- Demonstrated sales growth, cross-functional leadership, and strategic execution in multi-regional environments.
- Ability to manage field organizations through change/growth.
- Reside within territory or within 100 miles of territory border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
Desirable:
- Experience leading sales into large practices/hospitals/IDNs/SoC and reimbursement knowledge (outpatient and inpatient).
