Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and lead a diverse team of Territory Account Specialists; set and communicate KPI accountability.
- Model expected behaviors by enabling others, promoting accountability, and improving processes.
- Monitor and mentor Territory Account Specialists to effectively orchestrate total account calls and meet customer needs.
- Develop, implement, and grow customer-centric business plans with customer engagement and cross-functional partners.
- Participate in regional leadership team efforts to drive regional goals, business execution, and culture.
- Establish a hard-working, customer-centric culture that encourages speaking up, problem-solving, collaboration, experimentation, and learning.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of clinical, access, reimbursement, territory management, and omnichannel marketing tools.
- Use analytics to identify risk/opportunity and ensure effective deployment of face-to-face and omnichannel resources.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree required.
- 2+ yearsโ first-line sales manager experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similarly complex sectors) with strategic thinking and an enterprise mindset.
- Success attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent; building high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth, lead cross-functional partnerships, and execute strategy in complex multi-regional environments.
- Experience managing field organizations through change/growth (highly valued).
- Reside within territory or within 100 miles of the territory border; travel 60โ80% and drive/fly within territory; valid driverโs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience leading teams in promotion to large practices, hospitals, IDNs, and Systems of Care with reimbursement understanding (outpatient and inpatient).
