Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Project Control Management: Lead and manage project controls teams delivering large capital programs of at least $500MM USD that are business-critical; safely achieve project objectives from front-end planning (conceptual design) through operational qualification (cradle to grave), with safety, cost, schedule, and quality assurance.
- Serve as the independent lead for project controls to ensure compliance with standard processes and drive consistency.
- Manage all aspects of project control on major capital projects: establish cost, schedule, and resource plan baselines; manage resources; influence contract strategy; establish change control and risk management; monitor actual costs; audit pay applications; manage contracts; forecast and cash flows.
- Establish, train, and lead project control teams to deliver business objectives.
- Ensure proper application of Lilly finance policies on capital projects.

Minimum Requirements
- BS in business management, finance, engineering, construction, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in project controls on major industrial or manufacturing projects.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel to locations outside of home state/country.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization/visas (e.g., F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, L-1).

Additional Preferences
- Professional certification from a project control body (e.g., RICS, AACE, PMI).
- Proficiency with project management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Unifier, Primavera P6, Deltec Acumen Fuse, @Risk).
- Advanced understanding of financial concepts, estimating, cost management, change and risk management, project planning/scheduling, and work/cost breakdown structures.
- Lead through influence; coach others.
- Strategic thinking; long-term planning.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Self-disciplined and able to work with limited supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and innovative thinking.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Anticipated wage: $129,000 - $209,000.
- Eligible for company bonus (depending on company and individual performance).
