Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Project Control Management: Lead and manage project controls teams to deliver large capital programs of at least $500MM USD or more that are business-critical. Deliver project objectives from front-end planning (conceptual design) to operational qualification (cradle to grave) on Brownfield or Greenfield sites, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality assurance.
- Serve as the independent lead for project controls to ensure compliance with standard processes and drive consistency.
- Manage and direct all aspects of project control on major capital projects: establish cost/schedule/resource plan baselines, manage resources, influence contract strategy, establish change control and risk management, monitor actual costs, audit pay applications, contracts management, forecasting, and cashflows.
- Establish, train, and lead project control teams to deliver business objectives.
- Ensure proper application of Lilly finance policies on capital projects.

Minimum Requirements
- BS in business management, finance, engineering, construction, or related area, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in project controls on major industrial or manufacturing projects.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel outside of home state/country.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis (Lilly will not sponsor work authorization/visas).

Additional Preferences
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AACE, PMI).
- Proficiency with project management systems (SAP, Oracle Unifier, Primavera P6, Deltec Acumen Fuse, @Risk, etc.).
- Advanced understanding of financial concepts, estimating, cost management, change and risk management, planning and scheduling, and work/cost breakdown structures.
- Ability to lead through influence and coaching; strategic thinking; strong written/verbal communication; self-disciplined with limited supervision; strong problem-solving and innovative thinking.

Compensation & Benefits
- Anticipated wage: $129,000 - $209,000.
- Full-time employees may be eligible for a company bonus.
