Role Summary
Administrative Assistant, Data Science & Analytic Solutions
Role Overview: This position provides day-to-day administrative support to the Data Science & Analytic Solutions Lead and leadership team within Global Commercial Analytics (GCA). It supports the Data Science & Analytics Solutions group in building, scaling, and innovating data science solutions across the commercial value chain.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Data Science & Analytic Solutions Lead and Leadership team
- Track and manage purchase orders, budget and invoices; help resolve issues related to invoice or project setup delays
- Manage team communications including monthly newsletter and SharePoint / Microsoft Teams sites
- Assist with onboarding of new colleagues and contractors
- Update team organizational charts and distribution lists
- Oversee scheduling, logistics, activities and handling of issues for team meetings, events and recruiting
- Manage calendar of Data Science & Analytics Solutions Lead
- Collaborate with other GCA Administrative Assistants for coverage and best-practices sharing
- Manage special projects and initiatives as needed
- Anticipate and proactively resolve issues; use diplomacy to resolve problems
Qualifications
- Required: Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
- Required: 3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant or coordinator
- Required: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Required: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Preferred: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; self-starter, proactive, agile, solution-seeking mindset
- Preferred: Demonstrated project management experience
- Preferred: Business acumen, decision-making and flexibility
- Preferred: Ability to navigate internal organization/processes
