Role: Patient and Community Liaison (PCL) within Novartis' Neuromuscular team, focused on engaging with DMD and SMA patient communities to deliver education, build advocacy relationships, and gather insights to inform marketing and program strategies. Responsibilities: educate patients/caregivers about disease progression, treatment options, and product use; foster relationships with local advocacy groups; conduct live and virtual events, primarily on weekends; respond to inquiries; share feedback with cross-functional teams to improve educational materials; ensure regulatory compliance and document interactions; participate in planning and maintain knowledge of relevant platforms. Requirements: Bachelor’s in healthcare or related field; at least 5 years in patient education, healthcare support, or pharma; bilingual in Spanish/English; able to travel up to 70%, including weekends; strong communication and presentation skills; experience with virtual education tools; collaborative mindset and proficiency in regulatory environments. Desirable: experience in neuroscience, neuromuscular therapies, gene therapy, or rare diseases. High-value: focus on neuromuscular disorders (DMD, SMA), patient education, community engagement, hybrid work with significant travel, regulatory compliance in pharma. Location: Remote, based in the U.S. Central region (PA, OH, WV, KY, TN, MO, AR, MS, AL, FL).
