Account Specialist promotes a product to community practices and health systems, building relationships with accounts/departments such as neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, and pharmacy (or, for Urology: urology, urogynecology, obstetrics/gynecology, female pelvic medicine, ambulatory surgical centers, reconstructive surgery).

Responsibilities:
- Promote product to meet/exceed sales goals in community/private practices and hospitals/health systems.
- Identify customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) and address with appropriate AbbVie resources.
- Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and key hospital personnel.
- Deliver anatomical/procedural information and training, including anatomical terminology for injection paradigms/postures.
- Use sales and data resources to enhance productivity/growth while implementing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
- Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote approved indications and execute resident/fellow trainings within hospital/health system accounts.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; relevant equivalent industry experience required.
- If no bachelor’s: at least 5 years technical experience; 3+ years sales preferred; high school diploma/GED.
- Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Ability to lift/pull 25–100 lb training models; meet hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements.
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
- Adequate travel for territory and overnight training/sales meetings.
- Strong sales performance; ability to quickly learn procedural/clinical/anatomical content and train multiple audiences.
- Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements for assigned territory (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, state/city licenses).
