Responsibilities:
- Maximize opportunities for the product portfolio in a single-layer geography; develop/maintain strategic relationships with hospitals, IDNs, academic institutions, outpatient accounts, long-term care, government accounts, and specialty private practice.
- Advance customers along the sales continuum by delivering on-label presentations and gaining prescriber commitments.
- Differentiate the Anti-Infective value proposition at all account levels.
- Problem-solve product and patient flow across Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy-and-Bill; coordinate stakeholders across departments.
- Create, execute, and monitor strategic geography business plans; determine department/channel/HCP focus and frequency; align resources and adjust.
- Source and use account data to maintain account profiles/relationship maps; target key stakeholders/decision makers to expand physician usage.
- Attend and participate in local boards/societies/conventions/HCP meetings; represent assigned products with on-label communications.
- Complete required training and adhere to policies/OEC/Legal procedures; meet HCIR credentialing requirements for facility entry.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop compliant account processes and communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or equivalent experience: 5+ years in pharma/health/science (3+ years preferred); high school diploma/GED required.
- Account-based selling experience (hospitals, wound care centers, infusion centers); formulary approval knowledge; Buy-and-Bill and specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- Documented strong sales performance; advanced sales skills; ability to simplify complex products/processes.
- Strong business acumen, planning/organization, presentation skills, and problem resolution.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to drive and fully cover assigned geography; may require driving a personal/company vehicle or powered equipment.
- Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, state/city licenses).
