Responsibilities:
- Maximize opportunities for the product portfolio in a single-layer geography by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with Hospitals, IDNs, Academic Institutions, Outpatient Accounts, Long Term Care, Government Accounts, and Specialty Private Practice.
- Advance hospital/specialty customers along the sales continuum by using approved data/resources to gain prescriber commitments and deliver on-label presentations.
- Differentiate the Anti-Infective portfolio value proposition at all account levels.
- Solve product/patient flow across Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy & Bill; coordinate stakeholders across departments.
- Succeed in a matrixed, account-based environment; partner with AbbVie in-field and in-house teams.
- Create and execute strategic geography business plans; align channel/department/HCP focus and resource allocation.
- Use account data to maintain account profiles/relationship maps; target decision makers to expand usage.
- Attend HCP meetings/venues; represent assigned products and share on-label insights internally.
- Complete required training and adhere to policies; meet HCIR credentialing requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop compliant account processes/communication strategies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or 5+ years relevant industry experience (3+ years preferred) with high school diploma/GED.
- Account-based selling experience in hospitals/wound care/infusion; experience navigating complex matrix customers (e.g., IDNs, academic institutions).
- Knowledge of formulary approval; Buy & Bill and specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- Proven strong sales performance; advanced sales skills and ability to communicate complex products simply.
- Strong business acumen, planning/organization, presentation/facilitation, and problem resolution.
- Influences others; credible peer resource; ability to fully cover geography.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; able to travel/attend meetings; drive personal/company vehicle; satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements.
