This field-based role requires candidates to live within a reasonable distance of the primary city.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize opportunities for the product portfolio in a single-layer geography by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with hospitals, IDNs, academic institutions, outpatient accounts, long-term care, government accounts, and specialty private practice.
- Advance hospital/specialty customers along the sales continuum; gain prescriber commitments using effective questioning, active listening, and approved resources.
- Deliver on-label presentations/sales calls, address therapeutic gaps, and achieve sales goals.
- Develop relationships across account levels (C-suite, physicians, hospital staff) and differentiate the Anti-Infective value proposition.
- Problem-solve product/patient flow across Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy & Bill; coordinate stakeholders to align patient-focused solutions.
- Create and manage strategic geography business plans; use key account data to maintain account profiles/relationship maps.
- Attend and participate in local boards/societies/conventions as appropriate; all communications must be on-label.
- Complete required training; adhere to policies and HCIR credentialing requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with in-field and medical teams to develop compliant communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs (preferred) in health/sciences/pharmacy/business; or 5+ years relevant industry experience (3+ years preferred) plus high school diploma/GED.
- Account-based selling experience in hospitals/wound care/infusion; experience navigating matrix environments.
- Knowledge of formulary approvals; Buy & Bill and specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- Proven strong sales performance; advanced sales skills and ability to communicate complex products simply.
- Strong business acumen, planning/organization, presentation skills, and problem-solving.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to travel; ability to drive personal/company vehicle and satisfy HCIR credentialing.
