Responsibilities:
- Maximize opportunities for the product portfolio in assigned geography by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with hospitals, IDNs, academic institutions, outpatient accounts, long-term care, government accounts, and specialty private practice.
- Advance customers along the sales continuum using on-label presentations, approved data/resources, questioning, and active listening to achieve geography sales goals.
- Build relationships and differentiate the Anti-Infective portfolio’s value proposition with C-suite, physicians, hospital staff, and support personnel.
- Problem-solve patient/product flow across Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy & Bill; coordinate stakeholders across departments.
- Execute strategic geography business plans (channel/department/HCP focus and frequency by account) and maintain account profiles/relationship maps.
- Attend and participate in local HCP meetings; represent assigned products and share on-label findings internally.
- Complete required training and maintain policy/OEC/Legal and HCIR credentialing adherence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or 5+ years relevant industry experience (3+ years preferred); high school diploma/GED.
- Account-based selling experience in hospitals/acute settings; experience navigating matrix/IDNs/academic/outpatient environments.
- Knowledge of formulary approval; Buy and Bill and specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- Documented strong sales performance; advanced sales skills; ability to present complex scientific information.
- Strong planning/organization, business acumen, collaboration, and ability to fully cover territory.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel; ability to drive personal/company vehicle.
- Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements (e.g., background/drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting/licenses as required).
