Responsibilities:
- Maximize opportunities for the product portfolio in a single-layer geography by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with hospitals, IDNs, academic institutions, outpatient accounts, long-term care, government accounts, and specialty private practice.
- Advance customers along the sales continuum to gain prescriber commitments using effective questioning, active listening, and approved data; deliver on-label presentations to achieve sales goals.
- Differentiate the Anti-Infective portfolio value proposition at all customer levels.
- Problem-solve product and patient flow across Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy and Bill; coordinate stakeholders to align on patient-focused solutions.
- Use account data to maintain account profiles/relationship maps, target key decision makers, and support compliant, innovative programs.
- Create and execute strategic geography business plans; determine channel/HCP focus and frequency; adjust resources as needed.
- Attend HCP meetings/venues as appropriate and share on-label information internally.
- Complete required training and maintain policy/legal and HCIR credentialing adherence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs (health/sciences/pharmacy/business) preferred; or equivalent experience: 5+ years in pharma/health/science (3+ years preferred) and high school diploma/GED.
- Account-based selling experience (hospitals/infusion centers); experience navigating IDNs, academic institutions, and matrixed environments.
- Knowledge of formulary approval; Buy and Bill and specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- Documented strong sales performance; advanced sales skills; strong business acumen and organization.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to fully cover assigned geography and travel.
- HCIR credentialing requirements to gain/maintain facility entry.
