Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager, Nephrology - KRYSTEXXA

Responsibilities:
- Represent KRYSTEXXA to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales and perform total territory account management.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote Krystexxa within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner per legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs/goals and communicating them to internal team members.
- Meet or exceed corporate sales goals.
- Communicate territory activity accurately and timely as directed by management.
- Drive product demand via education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback to sales/business unit leadership and internal departments on results and changing environment.
- Adhere to company compliance policies/guidelines (including PhRMA code).
- Work closely with patient services and market access teams to achieve business goals.
- Coordinate between accounts and relevant field teams to support full range of account needs.
- Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budget; maximize use of approved resources.
- Complete all company training classes; complete administrative duties accurately and timely.
- Perform other tasks/responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications:
- Basic (Account Manager – Level 4): Bachelor’s + 3 years sales in pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales; OR Associate + 6 years; OR HS/GED + 8 years.
- Basic (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5): Doctorate + 2 years collective account mgmt/sales/commercial; OR Master’s + 6 years; OR Bachelor’s + 8 years; OR Associate + 10 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience.
- Sales experience in Nephrology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, and/or rare/specialty disease states.
- Site-of-care and reimbursement experience.
- Experience with institutions and integrated delivery networks.
- Pharma account management selling experience; able to coordinate across field teams.
- ~80% travel (may vary), including some overnight/weekend commitments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Professional, proactive demeanor; strong interpersonal skills; excellent written/verbal communication.
