Role summary
- Commercial owner for a portfolio of strategically important omnichannel retail relationships for Zoetis companion animal prescription and OTC/consumer products.
- Build and execute customer strategies to drive profitable net sales growth, strengthen partnerships, and expand reach of priority products.
- Lead Joint Business Planning; manage day-to-day customer relationships; collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply, Sales, and other cross-functional partners.

Key responsibilities
- Own customer strategy and growth: Build 12–18 month customer/Joint Business Plans; drive growth via distribution, assortment, placement, promotions, and new opportunities.
- Lead customer relationships: Build trusted senior/cross-functional relationships; run meetings, reviews, negotiations, and planning; act as primary liaison.
- Drive commercial execution: Lead/support negotiations, annual terms, promotional and go-to-market plans; use POS/market/category data for recommendations.
- Manage financial performance: Manage budgets and trade spending; apply net revenue management; support account P&L decisions; maintain sales forecasts.
- Mobilize and protect the business: Coordinate cross-functional execution, resolve issues, communicate risks early; ensure alignment to strategy, contracts, pricing, MAP compliance; establish/monitor KPIs.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related field; 5+ years in account management/sales/marketing/customer development/commercial operations.
- Experience in animal health, CPG, retail, e-commerce, home delivery, or similar customer-facing industry.
- Proven track record with customer business plans, senior relationships, complex negotiations, and commercial data.
- Strong financial acumen (P&L, net revenue management, trade spending, budget, ROI); advanced Excel and PowerPoint; excellent communication/presentation/influencing/organizational skills.

Preferred qualifications
- Omnichannel retail, companion animal health/veterinary products/pet care/pharmacy/consumer health; MBA or advanced degree.

Compensation & benefits
- Remote U.S. role; travel ~15–20%.
- Base salary range: $95,000–$170,000; short-term incentives and long-term incentives eligible.
