Account Manager (Nephrology) β Oklahoma/Arkansas/Northern Louisiana Territory
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain proficiency in relevant disease states, patient/clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
- Drive revenue by achieving sales/marketing objectives and goals.
- Serve as primary commercial interface with key accounts and accountable for overall customer experience.
- Develop/maintain deep relationships with key account stakeholders (physicians, nurses, office staff, management).
- Create and execute business plans for key accounts aligned with national strategy; lead key account discussions with leadership.
- Assess treatment patterns and referral networks.
- Collaborate compliantly with stakeholders (community engagement, patient services, medical affairs, operations) to meet account objectives.
- Share knowledge, field insights, and innovative engagement tactics with home-office team; participate in internal workshops/readouts.
- Proactively communicate with Regional Sales Director; operate with professional integrity and policy/compliance alignment.
Qualifications / Preferred:
- 4+ years biotech/pharma sales and account management.
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Preferred: experience in Nephrology, Hematology/Oncology and/or rare disease; valued: transplant and hospital/IDN experience.
- Preferred: experience in product launches.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proven sales track record; ability to create/execute account plans.
- Strong collaboration (high emotional intelligence), learning agility, communication, integrity, and solution-focused mindset.
- Must live in territory; comply with credentialing requirements.
Travel: Up to 75% domestically, including overnights.
