Summary
- The Account Manager is responsible for positioning and selling the Pacira portfolio within an assigned territory, using pharmacological/technical product knowledge and value proposition to exceed defined sales objectives.

Responsibilities
- Identify target markets using account-based operations and reporting/tools/dashboards.
- Exceed corporate revenue objectives in a specified geography.
- Work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, healthcare providers, and pharmacy to drive adoption of the portfolio within accounts/territory.
- Develop and maintain expertise of all products.
- Execute sales activities and manage time to increase sales productivity.
- Participate with the Regional Director in strategic/tactical planning.
- Update and document account information in Veeva.
- Demonstrate expertise of the conversion process in hospitals, ASCs, and offices.
- Develop and execute sales and retention strategies.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings to educate, understand needs, close business, and minimize obstacles.
- Manage territory via office visits and provide education on services and advances.
- Communicate opportunities, market trends, and issues to leadership in a timely manner.
- Manage expense budgets.
- Stay current on clinical data and present/interprete it with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
- Minimum 1 year direct selling experience to hospitals and healthcare professionals in pharma/biotech/device/health care.
- OR sales experience preferred.

Required/Preferred Skills
- Excellent written/oral English communication; strong presentation skills.
- Ability to complete hospital credentialing timely; CRM tool experience required.
- Travel extensively; valid driverโ€™s license, safe driving record, reliable transportation.
- Live in or near assigned territory.
- Knowledge of industry business drivers/medical trends/metrics; analytical and collaborative customer focus.
- Account management, needs assessment, value propositioning, objection handling.
- Proficiency with MS Office and relevant web/mobile technologies.
