Position Summary
- The Account Executive β MI Clarity drives awareness, adoption, and utilization of MI Clarity, an AI-powered prognostic assay assessing early and late distant recurrence risk in postmenopausal HR-positive/HER2-negative, node-negative early-stage breast cancer.
- Partners with oncologists, breast surgeons, pathologists, nurse navigators, and healthcare systems to educate stakeholders, integrate the assay into clinical workflows, and increase appropriate utilization.
Job Responsibilities
- Educate providers on clinical utility, prognostic value, and evidence for MI Clarity (early + late distant recurrence risk).
- Present clinical data and validation studies; explain differentiation of AI-driven pathology vs traditional assays.
- Lead in-person/virtual consultative programs on risk stratification, treatment planning, and extended endocrine therapy to reduce overtreatment/undertreatment.
- Position MI Clarity as clinical decision support (performance, patient selection, workflow integration, turnaround time, clinical interpretation).
- Develop and execute territory/account plans; build relationships with clinical stakeholders and health systems.
- Identify and engage key opinion leaders/champions to support adoption.
- Support testing workflow implementation and integration.
- Analyze performance data; monitor adoption/utilization trends; maintain CRM documentation and forecasting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Marketing, Operations, Customer Support) and ensure compliant, accurate clinical/promotional communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree (life sciences/healthcare preferred).
- 3+ years sales experience in Oncology, Diagnostics, Molecular Testing, Pathology, Medical Device, or Pharmaceutical sales.
- Strong understanding of breast cancer treatment pathways/oncology terminology.
- Relationship-building with healthcare providers and health systems.
- Excellent presentation/communication/consultative selling; ability to interpret and communicate clinical data.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology diagnostics/precision medicine sales experience; existing oncology/breast center relationships.
- Launch experience; familiarity with pathology workflows/digital pathology.
- Knowledge of prognostic/predictive breast cancer assays.
Additional Information
- Travel required (including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays).
- Annual hiring range: $125,000β$145,000.
- Conditions of Employment: pre-employment process incl. background check, drug screening, (credit check for some roles), and reference verification.
