In support of BSG Creative Account Team, the Account Executive (AE) delivers creative and communications solutions that are cost-effective and high quality. The AE works independently with clients to execute marketing communications projects, following client direction, creating estimates, securing resources, and managing timelines and budgets to meet client expectations.
The AE supports AbbVie employees across the corporation. Projects may include disease-state awareness campaigns, product launches, sales support/training materials, meetings, events, and corporate communication initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in creative conceptualization by providing complete project scope; prioritize projects and allocate appropriate resources.
- Partner with business development to maintain Creative Network business with current AbbVie clients; manage execution of project plans and timelines.
- Estimate, quote, and invoice projects monthly (with manager support); meet or exceed annual financial goal of $110M.
- Influence process improvements and share best practices.
- Provide support beyond normal client base as business demands; strategize with manager to improve effectiveness.
- Comply with applicable corporate policies, procedures, and mandatory training.
- Communicate project, budgetary, resource, or quality challenges and concerns openly with your manager.
- Adapt to changing external influences; build relationships quickly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree with emphasis in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, or Business.
- 2β5 years Project Management/Account Executive experience in a creative agency or meeting/event planning environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of InDesign (plus).
