Territory/Role: Remote & field-based Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) covering Louisville, KY, Lexington, KY, and Indianapolis, IN. Must reside within territory or within 60 miles of the border. Travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license required.
Responsibilities:
- Support patient access for assigned therapeutic-area products through proactive face-to-face education to providers/staff, integrating programs into office workflows.
- Analyze access and reimbursement issues (payer policies incl. utilization management, denials/appeals; drug acquisition/inventory; co-pay/administration/drug claims) and identify local/regional/national trends to support patient pull-through.
- Interface with Patient Support Center (hub): case tracking, issue resolution, reimbursement support, and office staff education; review patient-specific information when requested.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with NPC teams (e.g., Customer Engagement, Market Access, Marketing, Public Affairs, State & Government Affairs, Trade, Specialty Pharmacy Account Management) to share customer needs/barriers.
- Ensure integrity and compliance; handle Patient Identifiable Information (PII) appropriately.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (business/biological science preferred; advanced degree preferred).
- 3–5 years in reimbursement (public/private) or pharma experience in managed care, clinical support, or sales.
- Specialty pharmacy buy-and-bill experience.
- Coding/billing and office support program experience.
- Prior account management; knowledge of managed care/government/federal payers and IDNs/health systems.
- Team player across sales and internal stakeholders.
- Driving is an essential function.
Preferred:
- Buy-and-bill experience for provider-administered therapies.
Training (field roles): complete initial training (home study; ≤8 hours/day, ≤40 hours/week).
