General Summary:
- The Supervisor, Facilities Operations is responsible for critical GXP facilities operations and maintenance, supervising facilities technicians and facilities contractors to ensure completion of work orders in the CMMS system, and supervising site utilities, mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive and preventative facilities maintenance tasks and CMMS work-order jobs.
- Oversee facilities technicians and external facilities contractors executing site maintenance and repair.
- Perform and complete small facilities projects as needed.
- Ensure daily facilities rounds and site maintenance are completed.
- Respond to critical facilities infrastructure and systems alarms.
- Monitor the building management system (BMS) and environmental monitoring system (EMS).
- Interface with area stakeholders on site.
- Participate in quality management system workflows (quality events, deviations, CAPAs).
Knowledge And Skills:
- Familiarity in facilities trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) or mastery in a specific trade.
- Knowledge of GXP lab-based systems and lab facility infrastructure.
- Knowledge of fire and life safety systems, backup generator, UPS power, BMS, and EMS.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and work around the facility in different environments.
- Good documentation practices (gDOCP).
- Knowledge of cleanroom and CNC operations.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills.
Education And Experience:
- H.S. Diploma required.
- Typically requires 5 years as a facilities technician or licensed trade professional plus 1 year supervisory/management experience, or equivalent education/experience.
- 5 years experience in a GXP environment.
Pay Range (as stated):
- $95,200 - $142,800
Eligible additional compensation (as stated):
- Annual bonus and annual equity awards; some roles may be eligible for overtime pay (per requirements).
