Role Summary

Vice President, US Sales West. Responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion within the designated territory, developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the VP of US Sales & Commercial Enablement to develop and execute the regional sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives; analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve targets; implement training and development programs to enhance skills and foster high performance and accountability.
  • Sales Performance Management: Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics; monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct regular meetings and reviews to address obstacles.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders; engage major accounts and prospects to identify business needs and position solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support; share field insights with senior leadership to inform strategy.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting: Maintain understanding of regional market dynamics; provide regular reports on sales performance, trends, and recommendations.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage regional sales budget and optimize tools/technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field required.
  • 14+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, General Management or Sales in Medical Devices/MedTech; proven track record and business impact.
  • People management experience required; domestic travel ~50% of time; some weekend travel.
  • Strong financial and business acumen (P&L) and ability to manage key relationships including KOLs.
  • Ability to operate in complex, hybrid, and diversified markets; ability to stimulate innovation and reposition strategies as needed.
  • Leadership in a matrix organization; ability to act as an organizational change agent.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
