Position Summary
The Vice President, Head of US Pricing & Market Access will lead the development and execution of the U.S. market access strategy to ensure optimal payer coverage, reimbursement, and market access. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, build and lead market access activities including payer strategy, pricing and contracting, reimbursement, trade and distribution, and HEOR.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute U.S. market access strategies across pipeline and commercial products.
- Serve as senior market access leader and advisor to executive leadership.
- Shape launch readiness plans, access objectives, pricing strategy, and long-term commercialization planning.
- Provide market access input into portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and business development.
- Establish and maintain senior relationships with payers, PBMs, government payers, IDNs, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners.
- Lead payer engagement/value proposition development to support coverage and reimbursement.
- Develop and execute pricing, contracting, and channel strategies to maximize patient access and optimize financial performance.
- Develop/execute U.S. trade and distribution strategies; lead specialty pharmacy/distributor/channel partner selection and management.
- Ensure alignment of distribution, reimbursement, and market access; monitor channel performance and distribution models.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to establish scalable channel infrastructure.
- Lead payer-focused evidence strategy with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development; drive HEOR, economic models, and payer communications.
- Build and lead a high-performing market access organization; recruit, develop, and mentor talent.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, and Government Affairs.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
- 15+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience.
- Demonstrated success leading market access strategies for specialty and/or rare disease products.
- Proven U.S. product launch experience securing favorable payer access.
- Deep expertise in commercial payer, Medicare, Medicaid, specialty pharmacy, pricing, reimbursement, and contracting.
- Established senior relationships with major U.S. payers, PBMs, and specialty pharmacy stakeholders.
- Strong payer negotiation and formulary access track record.
- Strategic, commercially oriented leadership with exceptional communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
- Experience building organizations/leading teams in high-growth biotech/pharma.

Travel & Location
- Periodic travel; on-site average of three days per week unless otherwise requested.
