Position Summary
- Vice President - Strategic Accounts drives Caris enterprise precision medicine strategy by building, expanding, and sustaining system-level partnerships across surgery, pathology, and oncology.

Job Responsibilities
- Own and manage executive-level relationships (CEOs, CMOs, COOs, CFOs, Cancer Center Directors, lab leadership, health system administrators).
- Develop and execute enterprise account strategies across surgical workflows, pathology operations, and oncology care delivery.
- Integrate Caris molecular profiling and precision oncology into clinical pathways, standards of care, and system-wide protocols.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) on performance, utilization, outcomes, and growth initiatives.
- Analyze account/regional data to identify growth opportunities, adoption barriers, and productivity gaps.
- Partner with Regional Business Directors to align enterprise priorities with regional planning and execution.
- Provide indirect leadership/mentorship to Oncology Account Executives, Oncology Case Managers, and related field roles.
- Lead strategic initiatives as primary project owner (account onboarding, program launches, workflow optimization, EMR integrations, service improvements).
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery with Operations, Client Services, Laboratory, Medical Affairs, IT, and Marketing.
- Define project scope/timelines/deliverables/success metrics; track progress via CRM and project tools.
- Support new business development and expansion with complex deal strategy and value positioning.
- Serve as senior escalation point to align customer expectations with Caris performance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field.
- 5–7 years in strategic account management, oncology diagnostics/precision medicine, or complex healthcare sales.
- Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostics, NGS, oncology workflows, and pathology/lab operations.
- Proven growth in complex, matrixed healthcare environments.
- Ability to influence without direct authority; lead cross-functional/field teams.
- Proficiency in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree; PMP or formal project management training.
- Experience with enterprise/health-system partnerships and relationships with academic medical centers or large delivery networks.

Other (role-related)
- Significant regional travel (approx. >50%); evening/weekend/holiday work as needed; after-hours responsiveness for critical issues.
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods; travel by air/automobile; lift/carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.
