Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an enterprise IT vision, roadmap, and long-term technology strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify technology opportunities that enhance business performance and support growth.
- Lead scalable IT architecture, systems, infrastructure, and platforms supporting research, clinical operations, commercial activities, and corporate functions.
- Establish technology governance, policies, standards, and operating models.
- Support commercial readiness and optimize technology for sales, marketing, market access, patient support, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate to ensure systems support business objectives, customer relationships, data analytics, and operational efficiency.
- Lead AI/digital innovation strategy (AI, automation, machine learning, advanced analytics) and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Establish responsible AI governance practices (compliance, security, ethical use).
- Oversee enterprise applications, cloud services, infrastructure, network operations, service delivery, end-user support, and cybersecurity.
- Ensure system availability, reliability, security, and performance; lead disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Establish and maintain cybersecurity strategy, risk management, data governance, and information management practices.
- Oversee technology operations and user support across two hub locations and a remote workforce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership (senior-level roles).
- Enterprise IT strategy experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/life sciences/healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience supporting commercial growth and commercialization.
- Proven success leading enterprise architecture, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Experience building/scaling high-performing IT teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise applications, data management, cybersecurity frameworks, and modern IT operating models.
- Experience with multi-site/distributed and remote workforces; manage vendors and technology budgets.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence across all levels.
Travel: Periodic business travel as requested.
