Role Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Obesity market access strategy (access strategy, payer marketing, pricing, contracting) from early development through execution.
- Define payer value proposition, messaging, and positioning for Obesity assets.
- Set and execute pricing and contracting strategy, balancing access investment against GTN to maximize net trade sales.
- Build and continuously refine the Obesity market access playbook as the category evolves.
- Define and monitor access performance metrics (access quality, access speed, GTN vs. plan).
- Partner directly with the Obesity Franchise Lead within the Primary Care BU; co-own balance between brand growth objectives and access/GTN discipline.
- Translate brand P&L objectives into access, pricing, and contracting priorities; flag revenue vs. GTN trade-offs.
- Represent Obesity access needs into USMAPPS leadership; escalate resourcing gaps/misalignment as the category scales.
- Serve as single point of accountability integrating market access and patient services to advance patient/customer/business outcomes.
- Partner with Patient Services on affordability, hub, adherence, and support; lead evolution of Obesity patient support capabilities.
- Own access portion of strategic brand plan for Obesity pipeline assets; integrate access into early lifecycle planning.
- Build early market-shaping strategy; engage payers/health systems ahead of formulary decisions; close access readiness gaps.
- Define multi-year market access plans incorporating GTN inputs.
- Lead and develop a dedicated Obesity team (access marketing strategy, contracting & pricing); coach strategic ownership and build talent pipeline.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 12+ years healthcare experience with demonstrated success in market access, payer strategy, or brand-level access roles.
- Deep US healthcare knowledge (payer dynamics, formulary mechanics, GTN economics).
- Experience developing/executing integrated market access plans (payer marketing, pricing, contracting).
- Prior experience in Obesity, cardiometabolic, or another high-growth/high-visibility launch category.
- Ability to build strategy/capability in a fast-evolving/new category.
- Business/financial acumen and ability to translate brand P&L into access/GTN decisions.
- Strong influence/negotiation; trust-building with senior stakeholders.
- Previous supervisory/people management experience.
- Agility with ambiguity and organizational change.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/advanced degree.
- Experience partnering with brand/franchise leadership on integrated business and access strategy.
- Experience with direct-to-patient/consumer engagement.
- Familiarity with patient affordability and hub services program design.
