Medical Affairs
Role: Vice President, Medical Affairs at C4 Therapeutics, responsible for establishing and leading the company's medical affairs strategy to support clinical development and prepare for commercialization of targeted protein degrader therapies. Responsibilities include developing scientific engagement plans, evidence generation strategies, and medical communication initiatives; advising executive leadership on external medical trends; building and managing medical affairs capabilities; fostering relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders; and overseeing medical plans for clinical assets. The role requires integrating medical activities across functions such as Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, and Market Access, ensuring scientific rigor and compliance. The VP will also represent C4T at industry forums and lead the development of a high-performing medical affairs team, managing budgets and external partnerships. Qualifications include MD, PharmD, or advanced scientific degree with at least 15 years' experience in medical affairs or clinical development within biotech or pharma, with proven capability in building/maturing medical functions in a clinical-stage environment. Preferred expertise encompasses oncology, hematology/oncology, or other relevant therapeutic areas, with strong external relationship skills, leadership experience, and ability to interpret complex data for diverse audiences. The role involves strategic cross-functional collaboration, external scientific engagement, and leadership in a rapidly evolving biotech setting.
