Innovation, Data & Analytics Team, Senior Manager, Data Scientist

Role: Senior Manager, Data Scientist supporting Pfizer's Innovation, Data & Analytics (IDA) Team within Medical Affairs, focusing on advanced analytics and AI-enabled workflows to inform decision-making. Responsibilities include leading methodology design for model selection, segmentation, and evaluation, developing and validating AI models, and translating complex medical/business questions into analytical solutions. The role involves collaboration with data engineering, AI/ML engineering, governance, and stakeholders, ensuring analytical outputs are reliable and fit for purpose. The position requires hands-on data science expertise, project leadership, and cross-functional influence. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, or related field with 6+ years (or MBA with 5+ years), healthcare or pharma data experience, proficiency in Python/R and SQL, and experience with AI methods such as natural language processing and machine learning. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, experience with large language models, cloud platforms, and healthcare data standards, plus knowledge of pharmaceutical development and GxP. The role is hybrid, based in NYHQ, PA, MA, CT, Europe, or Montreal, with 2-3 days onsite weekly and no relocation package. Salary ranges from $124,400 to $207,400, plus bonus and benefits.
