What you’ll do
Investor Relations
- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations (IR) strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Serve as key contact for institutional investors, sell-side analysts, prospective shareholders, and investment community.
- Partner with CEO/CFO for quarterly earnings, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and individual meetings.
- Lead creation of earnings materials, press releases, investor presentations, executive talking points, Q&A, and messaging for earnings, clinical/regulatory milestones, partnerships, financing, and other material events.
- Monitor shareholder composition, analyst models, peer performance, and investor sentiment; advise executives and Board.
- Ensure compliance with SEC disclosure requirements, Regulation FD, and public company governance.

Corporate Communications
- Develop/execute corporate communications and reputation strategy.
- Steward enterprise narrative; lead integrated communications for milestones/events.
- Oversee press releases, executive communications, website content, annual reports, ESG and digital communications.
- Develop executive thought leadership; prepare leaders for media/investor/public engagements.
- Plan for reputational opportunities/risks; drive crisis communications.
- Partner with HR and functional leaders on enterprise internal communications strategy.

Build and Scale the Function
- Build IR/Corporate Comms function (org design, processes, governance, systems).
- Create multi-year scaling strategy; recruit/develop team.
- Manage external agencies/partners; transition capabilities in-house over time.
- Partner cross-functionally (Commercial, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Business Dev, Legal, Finance, HR).

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business/Communications/Life Sciences (MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred).
- 15+ years progressive leadership in IR, corporate communications, equity research, media (biotech/pharma).
- Significant experience supporting publicly traded biotech; strong biotech/clinical/regulatory/capital markets knowledge.
- Proven relationship-building with investors/analysts/media/advocacy groups/exec teams/Boards.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to explain complex scientific/financial topics.
- Experience leading communications for clinical/regulatory/financing/strategic milestones.
- Experience building/expanding IR and/or Corporate Comms; clinical-stage to commercial-stage experience.
- Oncology/precision medicine experience; capital markets transactions; relationships in biotech investment community and industry media; experience supporting product launches.

Total rewards (explicit)
- Expected salary range: $309,000–$381,000; eligibility for merit-based increases, discretionary short-term incentive plan, and discretionary stock options; medical/dental/vision, 401(k), ESPP, wellness programs.
