Vice President, Healthcare Compliance

Role: Vice President, Healthcare Compliance responsible for developing and overseeing uniQure's global ethics and compliance programs, supporting the U.S. launch of its first commercial gene therapy product. Responsibilities include designing policies, risk assessment, training, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to healthcare laws (e.g., Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Sunshine Act). The role involves cross-department collaboration, investigation support, and extending compliance frameworks internationally. Qualifications: BA/BS required; 15+ years in global biopharma compliance, preferably with experience in cell, gene therapy, or rare disease, and prior experience building compliance programs for commercial launches. Skills: strong communication, risk management, and ability to operate independently in a small, fast-paced environment. Preferred: familiarity with EU/EFPIA requirements. The position is hybrid in Lexington, MA, with 10-25% travel to international sites in Europe. Salary range: $309K–$399K USD.
