Vice President, Head of Search & Evaluation

Role: Senior leader overseeing external innovation search and evaluation for Revolution Medicines' oncology portfolio, focusing on discovery- and clinical-stage opportunities aligned with precision oncology. Responsibilities: define strategic sourcing strategies, lead proactive external relationship building with biotech, academia, investors, and entrepreneurs; oversee cross-functional diligence, develop evaluation frameworks, and drive portfolio decisions; build and develop a high-performing Search & Evaluation team; partner with transactions and portfolio teams on deal execution; represent the company externally at scientific and partnering forums. Requirements: PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent in life sciences; 15+ years in biotech/pharma, including experience in external innovation, oncology drug development, and leading cross-functional diligence; strong strategic judgment, leadership, and communication skills. Preferred: experience in targeted therapeutics, precision oncology, building scalable teams or functions, and a broad external network.
