Vice President, Global Supply & Operations

Role Summary

Vice President, Global Supply & Operations at ADC Therapeutics. Lead and shape strategy for global commercial and clinical supply, overseeing manufacturing, supply chain, external partnerships, and network optimization to support growth and ensure high quality, compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead global supply operations, including manufacturing supply organizations for clinical and commercial supply, external manufacturing, supply chain and partner management
• Coach, mentor, and develop the team to achieve high performance with a quality- and safety-focused biotech GMP manufacturing culture
• Oversee global strategic supply relationships with commercial partners, collaborating with Alliance Management to enable uninterrupted supply across markets
• Own the global network of CMDOs, improving internal and external frameworks with CMOs to increase volume, reduce lead times, and manage costs while maintaining supply
• Partner with Quality to drive routine supply, continuous improvement, Lean practices, investigations, change controls, and vendor management
• Foster a culture of Quality First and Right First Time throughout Quality, Operations, and external partners
• Manage budget and procurement for the Supply Organization, driving cost savings, contract optimization, and standardization
• Collaborate with Regulatory to author regulatory and technical documents for submissions and serve as SME in regulatory interactions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• BS or BSE in engineering, science, or related field plus 20 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech experience, or advanced degree plus 15 years
• Proven GMP pharmaceutical or biotech operations, supply chain, and/or technical operations experience; preference for biologics and chemistry backgrounds
• Strong leadership, strategy development/implementation, and change management experience in pharma/biotech manufacturing
• Experience managing external CDMO relationships and multiple downstream customers
• Background in External Manufacturing, Supply Chain, S&OP, MRP, and strategic procurement; experience with supplier negotiations
• Experience with regulatory filings, change control, audits, and partner audits
• Record of delivering results with Lean/Six Sigma and visual management
• Growth mindset and ability to build new capabilities with a talented team
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to ~25%
