Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis (annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, financial modeling, performance reporting).
- Advise the CFO and Executive Leadership Team on enterprise strategy, capital allocation, and organizational priorities.
- Lead enterprise-wide resource allocation and portfolio investment analyses across R&D, commercial operations, manufacturing, corporate functions, and business development.
- Represent Finance with external stakeholders (investors, banking partners, auditors, advisors, and—where appropriate—Board members).
- Lead financial evaluation, due diligence, and integration planning for M&A, licensing, strategic collaborations, and other corporate development initiatives.
- Develop integrated financial models, forecasting methodologies, KPIs, and analytical tools.
- Oversee financial performance reporting (monthly business reviews, exec reporting, variance analyses, Board materials).
- Support capital markets activities (financial guidance, financing transactions, benchmarking).
- Partner cross-functionally (R&D, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Technical Operations, Legal, HR, IT, Accounting) to align plans and provide decision support.
- Collaborate with Accounting to align planning, reporting, external guidance, and execution.
- Lead Finance transformation (processes, systems, reporting, planning tools for scalability, efficiency, automation).
- Lead/mentor/develop the Finance organization (coaching, succession planning, talent development, continuous improvement).

Education/Experience (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field.

Education/Experience (Preferred):
- MBA, CFA, or other advanced credential.
- 15+ years progressively responsible finance leadership in biotechnology/pharmaceutical.
- Publicly traded biotech/pharma enterprise planning/forecasting/budgeting/long-range planning and performance management.
- Experience with executive/Board partnership, capital allocation frameworks, business development financial diligence and post-transaction integration.
- Strong biotech financial drivers knowledge; capital markets experience.
- Experience scaling/high-performing finance teams; implementing enterprise planning/BI tools.
- Commercial-stage rapidly growing biotech/pharma experience.
