Vice President, Finance

Role: The VP of Finance at Flagship Labs is a strategic financial partner overseeing early-stage biotech portfolio companies (pre-Series A to Series B). Responsibilities include developing long-term financial strategies, creating detailed financial models, managing cash flow aligned with scientific milestones, and overseeing budgets, forecasts, and governance materials. The role involves managing venture debt strategies, optimizing space and capital allocation, and leading high-impact projects to scale biotech startups. Requirements: 10+ years in life sciences finance/biotech, BS/BA in accounting or finance (MBA/CPA preferred), strong business acumen, project management skills, and experience in companies with successful IPOs is a plus.
