Position Summary:
Vice President, Enterprise Effectiveness—cross-functional leader responsible for organizational effectiveness, enterprise evolution, strategic initiative execution, governance, and operating effectiveness as the company scales.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with executive/senior leaders to improve organizational effectiveness and enterprise performance.
- Build partnerships across Technology, Program Management, People Success, and other stakeholders to drive strategic initiative execution.
- Identify and address organizational inefficiencies; facilitate cross-functional problem-solving and practical recommendations.
- Navigate organizational growth and evolving business needs; align on enterprise priorities.
- Lead/enable governance and operating rhythms, accountability structures, and success measures.
- Maintain an external view of industry/workforce/technology trends (including AI) to strengthen execution.
- Lead/support high-priority cross-functional initiatives and develop repeatable approaches for complex execution.
- Lead change management; assess impacts, readiness, adoption risks; coach leaders/teams through change.
- Facilitate governance and decision-making improvements; clarify roles/accountabilities/decision rights and escalation paths.
- Work with digital innovation/strategy on technology resource utilization.
- (As applicable) Support due diligence and integration planning/execution for strategic transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s required; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years leadership experience in biotech/pharma/healthcare/consulting/ops/organizational effectiveness/transformation.
- Proven success leading large-scale enterprise transformations (operating model changes, redesign, integration, governance evolution).
- Ability to influence leaders without direct authority; exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and execution.
