Vice President, Compliance

Role: Vice President, Compliance at a biotech focused on ex vivo and in vivo gene therapies, overseeing the development and execution of the corporate compliance program to ensure legal and regulatory adherence in a transitioning commercial-stage company. Responsibilities: lead healthcare compliance strategies, advise on legal risks, serve as Chair of the Compliance Committee and Data Privacy Officer, monitor program effectiveness, and build a culture of integrity across commercial, medical, and manufacturing functions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; Juris Doctor or advanced degree preferred; 7+ years of relevant experience with a focus on cell and gene therapy compliance; strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, industry codes, and legal frameworks including FDA, OIG, and anti-bribery laws. High-Value: experience with cell/gene therapies, compliance programs, and industry standards; familiarity with regulations impacting marketing, clinical trials, and privacy in biotech; leadership in a complex, regulated environment.
