Vice President, Compliance

Role: Vice President, Compliance at a clinical-stage biopharma focusing on post-bariatric hypoglycemia, Wolfram syndrome, and ALS, preparing for commercial launch and growth. Responsibilities: develop and enhance a comprehensive healthcare compliance program, advise leadership on legal and regulatory matters, oversee compliance operations (including third-party diligence, investigations, training, and risk assessments), and direct compliance reporting to the Board and Executive Leadership. Build a culture of integrity, embed compliance into business strategies, and oversee a high-performing team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 12+ years in healthcare compliance within biotech, pharma, or life sciences; advanced qualifications (JD, Masters, or CCEP) preferred. Experience supporting U.S. pharma product launches highly desirable. Skills: leadership, project management, communication, discretion, and ethics. High-Value: experience with regulatory compliance for biotech/pharma products, especially in a high-growth environment, with an emphasis on launch readiness. Collaboration: partner with senior leadership and serve as a trusted compliance advisor. Work Setup: remote within the US with 15-20% travel, including periodic visits to Cambridge, MA.
