Role Summary

This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing Alkermes’s clinical development portfolio in Neurology. The Vice President will drive strategies and clinical plans across all phases of drug development for Neurology indications, including neurodegenerative and sleep disorders. The role involves hands-on leadership of the clinical department, development of study protocols, medical review of trial data, and generation of clinical study reports. The VP will engage external regulators, industry bodies, and key thought leaders, and will coordinate cross-functionally with regulatory, preclinical, CMC, project management, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Alkermes’s clinical development portfolio in Neurology across all phases of drug development.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in the clinical department involved in the development of therapies for Neurology indications, including neurodegenerative and sleep disorders.
  • Develop and execute study protocols, oversee medical review of clinical trial data, and generate clinical study reports.
  • Engage externally with global regulatory authorities, industry and scientific organizations, and external thought leaders.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with partners across regulatory, preclinical pharmacology and toxicology, CMC, new product planning, project management, patient engagement, health economics, legal, finance, medical affairs, and commercial.
