Vice President, Associate General Counsel

Role: Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Infectious Disease Franchise, providing legal counsel on drug development, commercialization, and regulatory compliance for biopharma products. Responsibilities include advising on FDA and global regulatory matters, healthcare laws, promotional activities, market access, medical affairs, corporate communications, and managing legal support for clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams. The role involves material review, training, cross-functional collaboration, legal research, outside counsel management, and potentially leading legal teams. Requirements: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school, licensed attorney in the U.S., 10+ years of relevant pharma/biopharma legal experience, expertise in federal/state laws impacting drug development and commercialization, and experience supporting regulatory and medical teams, including product launch experience. Preferred: experience with drug safety, enforcement actions, and litigation. High-Value: focus on infectious disease, product commercialization and launch, regulatory compliance, legal support for clinical and marketing activities, legal counsel for market access, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced biotech environment. Work setup: hybrid in New Haven, CT with a minimum of 3 days onsite, travel required.
