Veterinary Sales Representative - US Pet Health - Asheville

Your Role:
As a Veterinary Sales Representative, you will serve as the face of Elanco in the Asheville, North Carolina territory. You will own the strategy to build deep, authentic relationships with veterinary customers and guide the future success of the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Accomplish Sales & Business Objectives by developing and executing a territory business plan, focusing on product placement and key account growth.
- Build strong customer relationships with the entire veterinary hospital team through daily calls and trusted-advisor engagement.
- Guide product & market strategy by launching new products, educating customers on the Elanco portfolio vs. competitors, and leveraging data analytics to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate & influence by guiding distributor representatives and serving as a liaison with local veterinary medical associations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales (or equivalent fast-paced B2B sales experience).
- Team-first mindset; natural ability to build relationships and dedication to succeed.
- Valid driverβs license and acceptable driving record; legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to influence without authority; strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Business acumen and strategic decision-making in ambiguous situations.
- Proven planning/execution and sales-territory management.
- In-depth knowledge of the companion animal market.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA).
Additional Information:
- Travel: 25β50% annually.
- Location: US Remote; field-based coverage of the Asheville, NC territory (reside within territory or relocate).
